New Students before entering a new teaching in lectures, they will take part in a series of events. One of the series of events is the PKKMB (Introduction to Campus Lifer for New Students). PKKMB Vocational School Diponegoro University will be held on August 15-16, 2022. PKKMB activities prioritize campus-related introductions such as campus introduction, introduction to the PTRP Study Program itself, introduction to Academic System at Undip, providing information about libraries and academic curriculum, and introduciton of student organizations on campus.
PKKMB activities begin with attendance and collect students according to the groups that have been divided by the PTRP Student Association Committee. The PKKMB activity itself was filled by speakers from both the faculty and PTRP lecturers themselves. After giving the the theory, in the midst of giving the theory there will also be games conducted by the Student Association committee. On the second day, the PKKMB activity was filled by PTRP lecturers themselves, which consisted of Mrs. Khristiana Dwi Astuti who filled out theory on campus profiles and introductions to lecturers, Mr. Pangi gave theory about universities in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and new life after pandemic, Mrs. Mitha Asyita Rahmawaty gave theory on the ability to think creatively and criticallu, Mrs. Bintang Septiarani filled in problem solving, communication skills, etc., Mrs. Pratamaningtyas Anggraini gave theory on environmental awareness in universities, Mr. Syachril Warasambi Mispaki provided theory on introducing cultural values, etiquette, etc., Mrs Intan Muning Harjanti gave theory on the character building of students who respect humanity, and lastly, Mrs. Reny Yesiana provided theory on motivation to study in college and information on scholarships.
Apart from the faculty and lecturers, before the closing of the PKKMB activities, there was also an introduction to student organizations whose theory was presented by the Student Association committee itself. By holding PKKMB activities for two days, students can carry out lecture activities according to what has been given by the presenters such as cultural values, ethics, manners so that after graduating from the Vocational School of Science their knowledge can be useful for the wider community.
