The training for Initial Socio-Economic Registration Officers (REGSOSEK) is the government’s effort to build a single population data or one data, where the data is one of the programs to improve the quality of social assistance, health, to population administration. Prior to data collection, participants are required to attend several stages, one of which is training. The training provided includes general explanations, learning about how to organize and manage in the field well and field mechanisms which will be carried out by participants from October 15 to November 14, 2022.

This REGSOSEK training is the beginning of increasing the competence of Spatial Planning and Land Management students as Surveyors, where with training like this, PTRP students and students are able to carry out their jobs well and professionally, which will later be carried over to the world of work.

In this training organized by the Semarang City BPS, the training participants were taught how a data enumerator in the field can carry out a precise and accurate enumeration process. This is also related to the competence of a surveyor, namely having technical skills. A Surveyor must have the ability to obtain accurate results in the field when carrying out several checks.

Improving thinking capacity to readiness for work begins through the training. Various human characters and emotions must be found when collecting data in the field. This training also teaches about how a data enumerator can adapt to get quality data. This training also provides lessons on how we can improve public services in obtaining data results, because the data obtained will later become reference data and be used by all programs and services to the community.
