(21/01/2024) Diponegoro University Team I Real Work Lecture (KKN) students in 2023/2024 carried out a work program in Gaden Village entitled Flood Disaster Response Alert, which was carried out by a student named Maulida Aufa Ulinnuha, one of the KKN students who came from D4 Spatial Planning and Land Planning study program, Vocational School, Diponegoro University, Semarang City. The reason for choosing this monodisciplinary work program was that flooding problems were seen due to water overflowing from high areas, resulting in flooding around the Gaden Village area. Apart from that, Gaden Village enters the rainy season in January-February, so there is a need for early alert warnings through print media in the form of posters. Carrying out this work program begins with field observation activities to see which areas are affected by flooding so that stakeholders can focus directly on the residents of RT 07 around the Village Hall and SMP 1 Trucuk along the river drainage so that disaster response can be carried out quickly.
Then, the next activity is socialization. The socialization aims to direct and convey habits in cultivating environmental awareness regarding flood disasters to the residents of RW 07 regarding responsiveness when flood disasters occur in the Gaden Village area. This alert response poster for flood disaster mitigation serves as a medium for information guidance on how residents will act before, during, and after the flood disaster in the Gaden Village area.
