Submission of Map of Distribution of Public Facilities and Social Facilities of Blumbang Village to Blumbang Village Officials by Adinda Regita Mayangsari, UNDIP Team I KKN 2023/2024

Blumbang Village, Klego District, Boyolali Regency, Central Java (01/02/2024), Adinda Regita Mayangsari, a KKN Team I student at Diponegoro University, carried out one of the work programs, namely “Mapping Public Facilities and Social Facilities Available in Blumbang Village to Provide an Overview Visuals about Location, Distribution, and Deployment of Infrastructure.” Mapping of public facilities and social facilities aims to determine the distribution points of public and social facilities in Bumbang Village. This program is motivated by the unavailability of maps of the distribution of public and social facilities, and there needs to be updated data regarding the availability of facilities in Blumbang Village. Having this map will make it easier to find an area’s location and boundary conditions. This map can provide valuable information regarding the location of educational facilities, health, worship, trade and services, etc.
The map-making process begins with collecting primary and secondary data. The first thing to do is search for location point data on Google My Maps. A survey is conducted directly at the facility using the Avenza Maps application. This is done to validate the location points available on Google Mymaps with direct conditions in the field. After all the data has been collected, data processing is carried out using one ArcGIS mapping software. The stages begin with exporting data in the form of location points collected primarily (field observations) and secondary (google mymaps observations). After that, the data was downloaded from BIG (Geospatial Information Agency) and Geoportal Indonesia. After that, the map layout is carried out for finalization.
