March 20, 2024 – Students from the Applied Spatial and Land Planning (PTRP) Undergraduate Study Program have been actively involved in the INSPIRING Certified Independent Study and Internship (MSIB) program, which aims to apply their knowledge in assisting the process of preparing District Detailed Spatial Planning (RDTR) /City. This program provides an opportunity for students to study outside the study program with a guaranteed credit conversion that is recognized by the university.

MSIB INSPIRING is part of the Merdeka Campus Certified Internship Program within the Directorate General of Spatial Planning, Ministry of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/National Land Agency (ATR/BPN), which aims to help accelerate the provision of RDTR in Regional Apparatus Services/Organizations (OPD) in charge of affairs District/City Spatial Planning throughout Indonesia.

The four PTRP students involved in this program are Anisa Taghsya Safina, Tiara Julia Pradipta, Selsyana Camelia Amarta, and Muhammad Almeiza Thadea. They have been placed in various districts, including Purworejo District, Pangandaran District, and Buleleng District.

At the Purworejo Regency DPUPR Office, Anisa Taghsya Safina and Tiara Julia Pradipta were involved in preparing the RDTR for the Kemiri-Pituruh Urban Area. Their activities involve coordination with mentors and heads of spatial planning, field surveys, data and information collection, and public consultations.

Meanwhile, at the Pangandaran Regency DPUTRPRKP Office, Muhammad Almeiza Thadea was involved in preparing the Cimerak Urban RDTR. He carried out data collection, and analysis and drafted the RDTR concept for the region.

At the Buleleng Regency PUTR Office, Selsyana Camelia Amarta was also involved in the RDTR preparation process. He and his colleagues made a list of activities based on the Standard Classification of Indonesian Business Fields (KBLI) up to 5 digits attached to the Ranperbub ITBX RDTR Gerokgak Planning Area by the Buleleng Regency spatial pattern plan and Synchronization of Provincial RTRW Zoning Direction Indications, General Provisions for Regency RTRW Zoning, and ITBX RDTR Gerokgak.

Apart from that, students also take part in a two-week Bootcamp at the start of the program, which involves 15 subjects delivered by professional teachers. They learned about the public consultation process, preparing the ITBX matrix, and new knowledge from the head of spatial planning and MSIB mentors. The implementation of the MSIB INSPIRING program activities is carried out for 5 months.

The MSIB INSPIRING program provides valuable experience for PTRP students to apply their knowledge in the real world and make a positive contribution to regional development. It is hoped that this program can continue to provide benefits for students and related parties in efforts to prepare a sustainable and quality RDTR.
