Students from the Applied Spatial Planning and Land Planning (PTRP) Undergraduate Study Program class of 2021 carried out survey activities for one week in 5 sub-districts in Wonosobo Regency, namely Mojotengah District, Selomerto District, Garung District, Kertek District, Wonosobo District, and Kejajar District. Implementation of the survey began with simultaneous departures on Saturday, April 20, 2024. This survey aims to find the data needs that have been determined to complete the data analysis needs in the planning study areas divided from the previous semester. This field survey is part of the learning process in the Spatial Analysis Studio Course (Semester 6), which is based on a form of students’ existing learning in dealing with completing case studies in the field.
This survey activity was carried out by including field data collection activities such as road measurements, traffic counting accompanied by the addition of side obstacles, Geotagging of existing buildings and infrastructure, as well as distributing questionnaire forms to the public, interviews with related agencies such as official offices in Wonosobo Regency, sub-district/village offices and related sub-district offices.
Apart from that, this survey activity provides students with learning regarding survey instruments and how to obtain data requirements for preparing and analyzing development plans for planning areas.
Amid ongoing survey activities, Mr. and Mrs. Teaching Lecturers made visits (mentoring) to students’ accommodations in various study areas to accompany and evaluate the survey activities carried out so that they were expected to be by the main tasks and functions of the learning activities for the Tata Analysis Studio course—space itself.
After conducting one week of survey activities, the Class of 2021 Spatial Planning and Land Planning students returned home on Saturday, April 27, 2024. The return n was carried out together, and there were no obstacles.
