Semarang: Fazli Aditya Nugraha, a student of the Spatial Planning and Land Management Study Program (PTRP) class of 2024, recently achieved a proud achievement by winning 2nd Place in the National Poster Competition at the 2024 Social Welfare Academic Festival (Swarafest). This activity was organized by the Social Welfare Student Association of Padjadjaran University, a prestigious forum for students to showcase their work and innovations in the field of social welfare. Swarafest 2024 presented various interesting competitions, including scientific paper (KTI) competitions, social service posters, and short videos. All of these competitions carried the theme of inclusivity and disabilities, which is very relevant in today’s era when recognizing the rights of people with disabilities is increasingly being considered. In the competition, Fazli demonstrated his creativity and depth of understanding of the social issues raised. His poster was visually appealing and conveyed a strong message about the importance of creating an inclusive environment for all individuals, regardless of their background or physical condition. Through his work, Fazli hopes to inspire others to care more about social issues and fight for the rights of people with disabilities. He emphasized that everyone has a role in creating a better world, and art is one way to convey that message. The festival also serves as a platform for students to share ideas and innovations. Many participants from various universities in Indonesia participated, making this event an opportunity to collaborate and exchange ideas on pressing social issues. Fazli’s success must be supported by lecturers and classmates who continued to motivate and provide input during the poster-making process. He expressed his gratitude to all parties who have helped and hopes to continue working in the field of social welfare. Swarafest 2024 also emphasizes the importance of science research and development in the social welfare field.

Through the KTI competition, students are challenged to produce scientific works that can provide real solutions to social problems in society. In his speech, the chairman of the Swarafest 2024 committee stated that this festival is not just a competition but also an educational forum to increase public awareness of the importance of inclusivity. “We want everyone to feel involved and contribute to creating a just society,” he said. Fazli Aditya Nugraha’s success in winning 2nd Place in the National Poster at Swarafest 2024 proves that young students have great potential to positively change society. With enthusiasm and dedication, Fazli and his friends at PTRP are ready to continue working and contributing to the field of social welfare. In closing, Fazli hopes his victory can motivate other students to continue working and participating in competitions that encourage knowledge development and social awareness. The courage to speak up and raise important issues is the first step towards better change for society.
